
Mary Carpenter

Mary Carpenter is a writer living in the Washington DC house where her two sons grew up alongside many small animals: a dog and many cats plus a hedgehog, a chinchilla, guinea pigs, hamsters and mice.

Mary works as a medical journalist and currently writes the "Well-Being" column for rmylittlebird.com. She leads creative writing workshops in the Washington DC area and elsewhere.
She has written three books for readers ages 8 and up:
